D&D Campaign Series

So here's my section devoted to my world and campaigns for Dungeons and Dragons. I know it's geeky, but hopefully you wouldn't be reading this here if you weren't willing to delve. As I've said, I'll use just about any storytelling medium I can get my hands on.

There are "four worlds" within my D&D setting, but of course, they're really all part of one (relatively) large world sphere. Click here to view the world map for all four campaigns. Note the nature of the world: it's a sphere, but unlike a planet as we know it, the terrain and atmosphere are contained inside this shape. Thus, the world is rather bowl-shaped, and yes, it's not much bigger than California. This map divides the sphere into four quadrants, one for each world: A - Seraphaeon, B - Tyrracore, C - Delfaer, and D - Renascient (the graphic is not completely up-to-date). The four campaigns mostly take place in their respective quadrants, in chronological order.

The content of the campaigns is driven by one main focus: the rise and subsequent history of the D&D pantheon. I always thought the polytheistic system set forward in the Player's Handbook was interesting, but when I got a hold of the Deities & Demigods book, I was surprised to see that their backstory hadn't been fleshed out much. Thus, the four stories are meant to be highly mythological, if only in their setting.

Note that Tyrracore and Delfaer will tend to have much more content available, since these are the campaigns that I've DMed in any substantial way. Seraphaeon is little more than a prototype in my head, and the Renascient campaign has been entrusted to another.
